If I’m honest I’ve never been much other than indifferent on carpet, let alone likely to publish anything on the internet about it. Nonetheless, lovely Simon brought this carpet to my attention and now I’m beginning to see the error of my ways. These pictures are taken from this blog (where there are more), and are an artist designed German range from the Eighties and Nineties. The ones above are by Milton Glaser, Oswald Mathias Ungers and Gerhard Richter. They are still in production, so you too could own a carpet designed by Sol LeWitt. Who wouldn’t want that?
